Having achieved success in surf lifesaving, swimming, water polo and coaching, Carol now teaches – everyone from grassroots teams to Olympic gold medallists – easy-to-use techniques on improving communication, leadership and mindset.
Carol’s master’s thesis Women’s Perceived Barriers to Elite Coaching Positions in Australian Sport influenced the Australian Sports Commission when developing policy. She is also President of Women Sport Australia and recently carried the baton for the 2018 Commonwealth Games baton relay.

A leadership masterclass for athletes, coaches, officials and administrators.
Based on her Book “Confident Communication for Leaders” and over 30 years experience in the sporting and professional development industry, some of the topics Carol will teach include:

Project
The purpose of this project is to work with your team to teach confident communication skills in the workplace and the community. This is includes 2 x 5-hour masterclasses plus face-to-face coaching.
Some topics covered in the masterclasses include:
Understanding Communication styles and how to adapt your own style when required
Rapport building strategies for improved collaboration and easier workflow
How to recognise stress reactions in your team members and customers and respond appropriately so that there is a fast resolution- especially when engaging with community

Metaprograms - advanced understanding of people and their behaviours
How to chair meetings in the most efficient manner
Engaging your audience - from boardrooms to community forums
In addition, each team member will attend an individual coaching session with Carol around two weeks after the second masterclass. This will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss the concepts learned in both masterclasses and how they can be applied very specifically to their role in the business.
